Dan was ordained as a pastor at Calvary Chapel Fort Bragg in December 2002 and served as the assistant pastor until God called him to be the senior pastor at Calvary Chapel Shreveport in July of 2019.
Pastor Dan and his wife Lara have 6 children (5 girls and 1 boy) and 3 grandchildren. They were saved together at a small bible study in November 1992 while Dan was stationed at Marine Corps Air Base Iwakuni, Japan. They returned to the states in 1995 and got plugged into Calvary Chapel Rancho Santa Margarita until God called Dan to leave the Marines and move to Fort Bragg, CA in May 2000
